(Heh, figured this would be as good a time as any to get myself back into the story.)
On a small planet that had long since been disregarded as pointless by the bulk of the galexy stood an old stone formation in a shape that could be compared to a gate. It sat on a low plain stuffed tightly between to mountain ranges, and before it stood a few statues with various indentations. There was little vegitation, and the land around it was either solid rock or a sandy dust, in which the latter a set of footprints could be seen heading to the gate. They wore cloaks to protect themselves from the dust that blew about, though it was obvious that the group was carrying a few parcels.
When they finally arrived at the large structure, they quickly made themselves busy opening the packs they carried and placing the contents into the slots. When the final piece was placed into the last statue, the large stone structure began to glow and a shining portal appeared between the stone pillars. The group gathered around the portal, eagerly anticipatiing the goal of their long search. After a few moments of still silence, Suddenly a man burst from the portal, stopping to pant heavily just before the group. His clothing was dirty and torn, and his hir was messy, though it was still relatively short. He looked up at the apparent leader of the group with a large smile on his face. "Heh, it's about time you guys got that thing open again. I was going nuts over there since I turned off the transceiver to save power."
Ther leader shook their head for a moment before replying. "You know Toka, gathering all this and maintaining the base wasn't easy, you should be surprised we did it as fast as we did. Now let's save the chat for later and head back to the station, you could use a good cleaning up first. Our ship is just over those hills, let's hurry."
The group then took off, flying back to the ship. Toka stayed behind for just a few moments, long enough to raise his arm and fire a Ki blast at on of the statues, obliterating it. With one of them gone, the portal clased for good. "Good riddence, lousy place anyway." His job done, he quickly took off after the group that had found him, excitied to be back in his own demention. First hing he decided he was going to do was train, as he had grown a bit rusty while he was on the other side......
