Landing on planet Vegeta, Kanami stepped out of the pod that was supplied for her and took a deep breath, finding that the air was stale and smelled of blood. Two creatures stepped to the landing pad where she had landed, and took her inside to their leader, King Vegeta. The king accepted her authority and gave her one of their strongest guards, Kinshinhan. She smiled at the sight of the strong warrior and turned to go to the full moon. The saiyans wanted her to make something to let them become stronger without needing a full moon or the moon ball technique.
The stale air once again overwhelmed her as she stepped out. A full moon was shining brightly and the saiyans started to morph into weird giant apes. “Of course. These monkeys.” She noticed her guard not changing, and recognized that he didn’t have his tail. Under half a dozen saiyans haven’t turned into a monkey, and they didn’t have a tail. She jotted down that they needed their tails to transform. She looked at the moon and took a little gadget that she had taken from her home planet and pointed it to the moon. It was giving off readings of Blutz waves being off the charts.
“So that’s their secret, huh? A gland in their tail receives the blutz waves and then makes their bodies grow and they turn into monkeys.” she jotted down more notes and decided to search their roots for Super saiyan and above. The studies have greatly increased her knowledge of saiyan behavior. They weren’t just brutes, they were creatures designed for great fighting and finding their opponents’ weak point.
The night roared on and the giant monkeys finally turned back into tiny saiyans. Her time was up, and she returned to King Vegeta to tell him about her studies. The giant saiyan waved her off and she bowed in respect. She walked off to her pod and found several zenni there already. She bursts off to her home planet and attains money for risking her life to research the saiyans. She handed the Tuffle leader her notes and she gave her a small pouch of Zenni, which she was barely able to catch. She waved him away and ran off to her little house at the edge of the river.
