Rodan cursed as he arrived at the desert. He hadn't much time to find the sword peace. He looked around, juast as Aki had described. The heat was unbearable. Rodan smiled. Time to show that he wasn't one to be underestimated. He darted forward from rock to rock in the shade to avoid over heating himself. The place was scattered with the tombs of the dead saiyans. This place gave him the kreeps as he travelled along. He could plainly see the trails of the sand worms around here. He stopped in a patch of shade and thought for a moment. MAybe if he followed the trail he could find someplace usefull. He flew along, still under the shade of the rocks when suddenly a giant worm Shot out of the ground, sending him sailing through the air. He regained himself and smiled, shooting a flurry of blasts straight into the worms mouth, aggrevating it, making it swim away. The giant worm began circling around him. Rodan began thinking like mad, trying to find a way to win and get out of the heat.

Rodan decided he'd rush in then jump back at the last second, hoping to get the worm off guard and finish it off. Just then one of the planet's frequent sand storms came through and buffeted him with sand. He couldn't see at all, and the worm left no Pl signature to track. Rodan desperatly covered his face and frantically looked around, trying to find the worms signature. Rodan was going insane, there was a fight going on and he couldnt see at all. Jsut then he heard a sudden burst of sand moving then a sharp, stinging pain in his leg. He was suddenly pulled under the sand and dragged through a worm tunnel. He looked down and saw the worm pulling him down with it's teeth. Rodan began kicking the teeth out from the worm. He couldn't get free but he saw a hole through straight to the creature's innards. He shot a giga cannon straight into it's core, blowing it to bits. He then fell into a large network of tunnels, obviously created by the worms. He forced himself up, looking down at his bleeding leg, which wasn't the least of his problems He was covered in the words blood, so it would surely attract others. He looked around, these tunnels seemed to go through the ruins. He bandaged up his leg and began walking off into one of the many tunnels..

Rodan felt a rumble in the ground and turned to see two sand worms come charging after him. He flew full speed in the oposite direction, looking back occasionally just to see them getting closer to him. He kept flying, charging up energy in his hands. Once he saw a dead end he stopped and turned around, launching his Big Bang attack. Dust blinded him, stinging his eyes. To his surprise though light shone through. He flew up into a large room with pillars and designs, now illegibel due to the wear of time. There was a large alter on the far side of the room, with a sky light shining down on it. Rodan walked up to it and wiped the dust off, there appeared to be some kind of mount at the top, but whatever the object was that rested there, it was gone. THe alter was half destroyed by a worm "Is this were the sword was, maybe I should look around."
