Unlikely Friend

[Maverick]

Maverick was flying over a rolling grass plain, her blue wings rippling as the wind passed over them. The hopes of some place to hide were near none, and this place seemed so peaceful too. That's what worried her, the last place she staid too long at someone tried to attack her.

She was not from here, or this dimension for that matter, but had heard stories of this planet and its people. The stories of the planet referred to it as a paradise, but those of its people made her cringe a little.

Finding somewhere to spend the night was her main goal and she hoped to find something soon. Becuase when she did find it she could hunt for food.Her stomache growled as she flew.

Unaware that her Ki signature might attract someone who could follow them.

[Blaze]

Blaze had been on his look out until he felt a strong pl a short distance away on the ground below. Without a word to anyone else he telaported to the are, but he still had to look for the pl signature. He didnt have to look for long. He spotted a creature that had a draconic appearance. Poberly a deamon he thought to himslef. He didnt know why this creature was here, but i was proberly evil and would harm the people of the planet. So he would need to destroy it.

So blaze flew above the creature and charged two balls of ki in his hands and then broght his wrists togerther. A blue beam erupted from his palms a flew towards the creature below. The attack contained enough ki to let the creature know he was there, but not enough to destroy it.

[Maverick]

Maverick could not sense Ki signatures like Blaze could. It was not until the light from the beam brightened things below her did she respond.

Pulling her wings close to her body she dived down, begining to spin, and opened them as she spun. This caused her to barrel roll out of the attacks range, or so she hoped.

Looking around she found the attacker. He was human from what she could see. The hatered that the figure invoked tried to have her attack, But this one had range something she did not have at the moment.

So she tried another approach.

"Who are you and what do you want?" She barked at the attacker. As a precaution she charged the Wind Dragon Blade behind her. Her hope was to distract this person until either party was closer to the other.

[Blaze]

Blaze had not expected the creature to talk to him, instead he expected it to attack straight away without hesitation. How odd he thought. "My name is blaze" He didn't respond to the second question, instead he asked "What are you doing here" he had no intention of attacking the creature further, well not yet anyway.

He would listen for now and judge the creature on its response. If the creature did not attack, then it showed Blaze that the creature was not a threat to him, but mabe to others, but he had to be sure. He powered up, letting his ki rise to its full power without transforming. His arua flared out around him and then died down.

[Maverick]

Maverick's wing twitched slightly as Blaze's power rose. When the aura burst forth she backed up slightly. Her own attack falling to the wind in which it was formed. She flailed her wings out, an attempt to make her seem bigger then what she was. Her blue scales glintered in the light as it washed over her.

"Why would a human want to know? To strike me down while I sleep or to inform more of them?" Maverick retorted. She had no knowledge of the race known as Sayians.

Blaze looked human and therefore to the best of her knowledge was Human. She kept her guard up all the same. If Blaze really wanted to know he'd have to beat it out of her.

[Blaze]

Blaze smiled, as Maverick refered to him as a human. Blaze then said "Im not a human, im a sayain. one of the most powerfuliest races in the universe and i have no intention of striking you down in your sleep or for calling more of my kind to help, i consider that a cowards way of fighting". Blaze then floated slowly to the ground and asked again "What are you doing here?"

Again he would not attack unless the creature decided to, but he would be ready, just in case it happened, but for some reason he didn't think the creature would attack him. He didn't know why he thought this, but quickly pushed this thought aside and waited on the creatures reaction.

[Maverick]

Maverick followed him, her mind trying to process the information that she was given.

I've never heard of these Sayains. The thought ran out slightly. Her stomache rumbled casuing her to place a hand on it.

Damn. I got to find something to eat.

"That is not your concern." She replied to Blaze. As she spoke she tried to fly away but fell just as fast as she came up. To weak from hunger to sustain flight any longer.

[Blaze]

Blaze watched as Maveric tried to fly, but then fell to the ground, just as quickly as she tried to fly. Blaze didn't laugh at this, even though it was quick funny to watch. Blaze then said "It is my concern, as guardian of earth. Now i will ask you again, what are you doing here" he kept his voice calm and clear.

He waited on the creatures reply again. Blaze's patience was running thin, but he kept this concealed as he waited for the creatures reply. Still he wouldnt attack unless the creature chose to.

[Maverick]

She began to breath heavily as she staggered to her feet.

"Guardian huh?" she raised her head weakly, a defiant look in her eyes. "How much longer till the humans turn on you?"

After realizing there was no way to escape the question she responded simply.

"I'm lost, thats what I'm doing here. Trying to return home." A look of sorrow, of anguish, crosses her eyes as her head fall limply back down to her chest.

She hoped that it would make some sense to him. She sighed and her wings laid over her like a cloak, resting lightly on her shoulders.

[Blaze]

"Your lost, so your not here to destroy anything or anyone then?". Blaze then noticed that the creature was losing streangth and knew that it wouldn't last long without something to eat. He then noted the look of sorry and anguish on the creatures face and the thought, that the creature could be good and not evil came back into his head. He then said "I can see your hungry, do you fancy something to eat?"

He didn't know what the creatures reply would be, but he thought that it would a good one, but he would only know when the creature replied.

[Maverick]

Maverick tried to raise her head to look at Blaze but was unable to.

"No..." was all she replied to the first question. She paused a moment, trying to pull some of her fleeting strength up.

"Yes, something... to eat... would be... nice." She replied, slowly and her speech broken slightly.

Her body was now on the verge of collapsing, she rocked back and forth as if she were drunk. She moved with slow unsure steps towards Blaze.

Is he really willing to help? Can he even take that risk? The thougts where, like her speech, sluggish.

As she neared Blaze she mubbles to him. "Alright Blaze, I'm going to trust you. But..." she is cut short as hse passes out, due to a lack of food, near the Sayian. Until she woke she would not know where she was.

Her life was now in the hands of the Sayian.

[Blaze]

Blaze put his arm out to stop the creature from falling. He wondered why it had just decided to fall, but then noticed that it had passed out. He could do little for the creature in its present state, execpt wait for it to wake up. He pulled a capsule out of his pocket, pressed a button, and threw it to the ground. In a puff of smoke his ship appeared. He picked up the creatures body and entered the ship. He went to one of the beds in the ship and placed the creature on top of one and then went to get some food from the ships supplies.

While he waited for the creature to wake up he decied to prepare the food, which would take him some time, due to the amount he eats.

[Maverick]

Maverick was out and there seemed to be no way that she would wake up anytime soon.

For now she simply laid on the bed that Blaze had placed her on. Hours seemed to tick by as she rested.

She didn't know she was most likely hold Blaze up but she was out. If she woke up and he was no there she would not blame him,why would he help her anyway?

After a few more moments she, was aware enough to open her eyes and speak only a little.

"Blaze? You in here?" she asked as she tried to sit up, only to fall back down on the soft bed.

[Blaze]

Blaze had just finished preparing the food whent the creature called for him and blaze said "Im still here, dont worry i haven't left ya". He moved over to a few cuboards that had been secured to the wall of the ship and removed a couple of plates, he then placed these on the kitchen surface and placed loaded one with all sorts of food and loaded the other with varies types of meat. The plate with meat on, blaze took to the create and placed it on the creatures lap, then he helped it into a sitting position and then asked "Whats your name, if you do have a name that is"

Blaze waited for the creatures reply, while eating his own food, which was gone shortly after he had asked his question.

[Maverick]

Maverick didn't complain about being help and began to eat what she was given. She wasn't picky but she ate it slowly.

She was also surprised that Blaze did not leave, but she was glad he didn't.

"Names Maverick." she mumbled, noticing that Blaze's food was gone faster then she expected.

After a moment she looked up at Blaze.

"Thank you for helping me. I would like to return the favor, if you didn't mind."

she returned to her food, waiting for Blaze's answer.

[Blaze]

"Nice to meet ya Maverick. Theres no need to repay the favor, i do what i can to help others, anyway where are ya trying to get to?". Blaze waited for her answer while he got himself more food, which was gone just as quick as his first portion. He then said "Want anymore, I've got plenty of food on this ship". He moved to wards the door of the room and learned against the door frame.

He was still waiting for Mavericks answer, but the waiting didn't bother him at all, he was used to it.

[Maverick]

"I'm not sure you'd understand my situation, Blaze." she paused having finished what she was given. she lifted her head and looked at him.

"I'm not just stranded from home... I'm stranded from my dimension." she waited to see how he would respond to this first before answering his second question.

"No, but thank you for offering." she crosses her legs and sits facing Blaze.

How could I possible give him an understanding about what has happened. Was her only thought.

[Blaze]

Grey listened and took in everything that Maverick had to say. After a short while he said "What dimension do you come from, if i knew that mabe i could help ya get back to it". He then took he plate and his and started to wash them by hand, he preffered doing things this way. He then turned around and walked back to where Maverick was and said "So, how long have you been stranded here then".

He was quite interested in how Maverick had become stranded and so was willing to help anyway he could.

[Maverick]

"The name of my dimension is Uramae. In my language it means ' land of fallen angels'" She felt odd talking to him about this. Knowing that some of the elders would reprimand her severaly if they found out.

"I haven't been here that long. A few days really. Why so intrested?" she spoke with a sort of renewed faith, even if it was to be false in the future.

"Is there anything else you'd like to know?" she asked. She knew that she was different, but she wanted to she what Blaze wanted to know.

[Blaze]

"Im interested, because you need to get back to your dimension and im willing to help you do that anyway i can, Yeah, there is something else i want to know. Do you know anything that would us get ya back to your dimension?" Blaze then pulled up a chair and sat with it up against a wall, to the right of Maveric and said "Considering you got no where else to go to, until we get you back to your dimension, you could stay with me if you want, up to you though?" He then thought, that Maveric might be interested to see how powerful he was, so that she wouldnt have any doubts about him helping her.

He turned to Maverick and said "Do you want to see what a sayain can realy do?" He waited for her reply, not sure whether Maveric would want to or not.

[Maverick]

Maverick lowered her head. "No. How I got here was a complete accident. One that I'm not willing to replicate even if I could. The only machine that was capable of this is locked in my dimension. There was so little known about it that I can, not even if my life depended upon it, build. Sorry I can't be of anymore help there."

She raised her head when Blaze asked if she would like to stay with him. Like he said she was not going anywhere anytime soon. so she said "yes" to the invitation.

Now Blaze had her attantion slightly more then before.

"I'd love too. But first could you tell me about your race?" she wasn't sure if he would answer the second part but she atleast tried.

[Blaze]

Blaze smiled when she accepted he invitation and then nodded, when she asked him if he could tell her about his race. "Right, Sayains are considered one of the most powerful races in the universe. Our power grows through fighting and training. When we gain enough power, we can gain transformations, but we also have to undergo enough emotional stress for it to happen. Anyway, i'll show what trans we gain when this happens, if you would like to follow me outside" He began to head towards the door, that would take him outside the ship. He waited for Maveric to exit the ship and then raised his pl. His arua flared out and then turned a bright golden colour, as did his eyebrows and hair, but his hair spiked up.

"This is called ssj, it boost our power by at least 12 times" His aura flared out again, as pl raised even more. His muscles bulged up slightly and sparks flew around and off him. "This is called ssj2, it boost our power by at least 15 times. I cant go any higher than this, but their are more trans that are available to sayains. Also we are much stronger with our tails than without them. They are also our weak spots, if you grab them, then we can be weakened, but we can train the weakness out of them, like i have, but it takes time and patience to do so. Well thats it, thats all i can tell you" He smiled when he finished and then began to laugh slightly, at how little he knew about his own race.

[Maverick]

Maverick listened intently and followed when prompted to. She was shocked to see and hear that a whole race could turn this golden form.

"Amazing." she said smiling. "Your whole race can transform? With ours only one, as far as we know, can preform such a feat. Sadly he is not here." She lowered her head at the last part.

Looking up again she asks "Anything you'd like to know about my race?"

He told her about his so it was only polite to respond the same way. She just wanted to be sure as to what he wanted to know.

[Blaze]

"Anything you can possible tell me about your race. Im actualy quite interested in hearing what you have to say" He waited on her to answer his question. While he was waiting he charged a ball of ki in his hand and aimed it at a huge boulder. He threw the ki ball and moments later the boulder had dissapeared in a cloud of smoke and then reappeared as rubble on the ground. He then powered down and turned to Maverick, waiting patiently for her to speak.

[Maverick]

Maverick smiled.

"Hmm... Lets see. As you can see we are draconian in apperance. however unlike your race only one of ours can transform. Our choosen in a way. As of current we are at war."

She left out a large bit. She wanted to see just what he was willing to understand for the moment, though she was slightly impressed by Blaze's display of power.

"You remind me a lot of our current choosen." she says after the rock was rubble.

[Blaze]

"I see so only one of your race can transform. Anyway who are you at war with and can you tell me anymore about your people".

Maverick had his attention and interest. Blaze wanted to know, what Maverick could tell him. He waited for her to speak, while he waited he started to do push ups and sit ups.

He would soon grow bored of this, but it would keep him going for a while. Once he reached one thousand he would stop, as he usal did.

[Maverick]

"Yes, our choosen is red in scale coloration and the only one with that color. His or her Asended form would be like gaining near infinite power but it only comes out enough to match your power to that of who you are fighting."

Maverick paused. She had seen what the transformation was like and had some understanding of it.

"We are at war with a race of machinces known as the Gemini. They constantly alter their appearance so we have very little way of knowing who they are or where they are at any point. There in lies my peoples delema."

She stopped her, letting this inforamtion sink into Blaze's head.

[Blaze]

"A race that can change there apearance, interesting. So your race is fighting the gemini, but has trouble doing so, because the gemini can change its apearance". Blaze then took a short paused and then said "If we could get back to your dimention then i would gladly help your people out in their war, thats if they would accepte my help that is"

He then started to raise his pl level to its maximum withour going ssj. His arua burst out and the power of this caused a wind to pick up. He then went ssj and powered up to the maximum of that transformation. He was constantly testing his power. He then went ssj2 and did the same again. His aura flared with more power and the wind picked up with some power behind it. He then powered down, he was breathing slightly heaverly, but he was ok. He turned to Maverick to see if she was alright and said "sorry about that".

[Maverick]

"I'm not sure. The help would be greatly accepted but..." Her words trailed and her head lowered.

"We once allied with the humans from our dimension. In the end they stab us in the back for our tech and secrets. The council has not forgotten."

Maverick sighed heavily. then a thought came to her.

"Maybe once we find someway to return, my fiance can convince the council to see your side of the story. But there are no promises."

[Blaze]

"Considering im not human and no human could ever gain the amount of power my race can, so your council should see me if not then i will help you regardless of what they do or say" He wanted to help Maverick in anyway he could, but regardless of what he said he would respect the word of her peoples council and leave them alone if they didnt want his help.

"Anyway, have you anything more to tell me about your race". He looked at her and waited, with great patience that he had learned over time.
